- • Location Data used to show nearby sports events, help you create and join activities in your city, and improve recommendations.
- • User-Generated Content events you create, chat messages, and photos or other content you choose to share.
- • Device & Usage Information app version, operating system, and performance/diagnostic data to help us maintain and improve the app.
- • Health & Workout Data with your explicit permission, we read workout records from Apple HealthKit (iOS) or Health Connect (Android), including activity type (e.g., running, cycling, soccer), start/end time, duration, distance, and calories burned. This data is used solely to auto-fill activity stats when you choose to share a workout moment in the app. We do not write any data back to HealthKit or Health Connect, and you can revoke this permission at any time in your device settings.
2. How We Use Your Information

6. Data Retention
We retain your information only for as long as necessary to provide the service and for the legitimate purposes described in this policy:
- • Account information (phone number, profile) is retained while your account is active and for up to 90 days after account deletion, to allow recovery and comply with legal obligations.
- • User-generated content (events, posts, photos, chat messages) is retained while your account is active and is deleted within 90 days after you delete your account or the content itself.
- • Health and workout data read from HealthKit or Health Connect is not stored on our servers. Only workout identifiers used to prevent duplicate notifications are kept on your device for up to 7 days and then automatically deleted. Activity stats you choose to attach to a shared moment become part of that post and follow the same retention as user-generated content.
- • Device, usage, and diagnostic data is retained for up to 24 months for analytics, security, and abuse-prevention purposes, after which it is aggregated or deleted.
- • We may retain certain information for longer when required by law, to resolve disputes, prevent fraud, or enforce our agreements.
7. Children's Privacy
Neet is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we become aware that such information has been collected, we will delete it promptly.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make changes:
